Nigel brings with him 20 years of experience working in California’s Silicon Valley software industry. Most recently he was chief operating officer at Perforce Software, a company that revolutionized the ideas behind the version management of source code and all forms of digital assets. Nigel joined Perforce when it was a garage start-up and went on to help bootstrap the company to an organization with offices around the world and a marquee customer list that included Google, Salesforce.com, SAP, Electronic Arts, Samsung, and Pixar. Currently he is embarking on another software start up, VersionRocket, which introduces a new technology for SCM backed file-sync. The Snirt Labs team hope it will simplify document collaboration for millions of people including governments who are starting down the road of legislative collaboration with the public.
Nigel got involved with Meticulon through a long association with founder Russ Peardon and was excited to try and bring a little of his Silicon Valley experience to the table. Away from technology Nigel enjoys skiing, flying, but more often doing the school run with daughter Alice on the back of his Vespa scooter.
