Lyndon Parakin is currently Executive Director for Autism Calgary Association. He has been in this role since 2006. Through his leadership and the collective dedication of Autism Calgary Board, Staff, and Volunteers, Autism Calgary supports individuals and families living with Autism Spectrum Disorder through the lifespan. As a father of four children, two with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), Lyndon is sincere and compassionate about the role of Autism Calgary as the unity of families, caregivers, and supportive professionals striving for a supportive, accepting and understanding community. Beyond his experience as a leader in the ASD community, and his volunteer work in other non-profit organizations and academic committees, Lyndon entered the charitable sector with a unique education and employment background. Lyndon holds degrees in pure mathematics, applied mathematics, and computer science. He previously worked as a software scientist, most recently working on a development team for products used in computer simulation and 3-D modelling. For many reasons Meticulon sparks a personal curiosity.
